Single Board Computer

BDS1000_SBC is a single board computer featuring a high performance (400MHz) processor and low power consumption. BDS1000_SBC is an Intel XScale PXA255 processor based board that is ideal for mobile products. BDS1000_SBC is preloaded with Windows CE.NET 4.2 operating system supporting all the peripherals provided by this platform. Some of the features provided by BDS1000_SBC are listed below:

• 32-bit Intel XScale processor (up to 400MHz)
• 32 MB of SDRAM
• 32 MB of Intel Strata FLASH
• Two independent and isolated (hot-pluggable) Compact FLASH Type II sockets capable of housing Ethernet, wireless, modem, memory, etc. cards.
• A USB client port.
• Two USB host interfaces, used to connect Keyboard, Mouse, or any other USB device.
• A RS-485 interface used for connection to a printer
• Two RS-232 serial ports
• A RS-232 interface connected to a socket designed to house Socket Modem from Multitech.
• A monochrome LCD.
• A Keypad interface
• Two 12V output driver circuits - can be used to drive Strobe light, 12V fans and etc.
• Six Solid-state Relay controlled outputs
• Sixteen general purpose inputs.
• I2C EEPROM
• Battery backed Real Time Clock
• JTAG interface, used for download and debug purpose
• Active Sync

BDS1000_SBC includes all device drivers to support features listed above. This platform can easily be modified to fit any custom application or need.
